Design Story
The composition is built as a medallion: a pale marbled oval framed by silver-toned scrollwork and laurel, with the interlocking UK monogram sitting dead centre in deep cobalt. Arched lettering reads University of Kentucky above, a ribbon banner carries Kentucky Wildcats below, and a small EST. 1865 plate closes the vertical axis. Beneath it, a blue basketball-panel motif wraps the lower body, its seam lines echoing the vertical proportion of the vessel. Two tones do all the work — royal blue against warm silver-grey — so the hierarchy stays instantly readable.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler, that centred crest becomes the focal panel, sitting exactly where the eye lands when the piece is held or set down.
